The Bhagavad Gita – A sacred dialogue on life, duty, and the path to inner peace

कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन।

Verse: Chapter 2, Verse 47

Translation: You are only responsible for your actions — never for the outcome they produce.

Meaning: This verse teaches us to act with sincerity and dedication, without getting attached to success or failure. The peace we seek comes from doing our duty without expecting rewards.

न जायते म्रियते वा कदाचिन्…

Verse: Chapter 2, Verse 20

Translation: The soul is never born and never dies. It is eternal, beyond time and change.

Meaning: Our true essence is the atma — it does not perish when the body dies. This reminds us not to fear death and to look deeper than the physical world.
